“Gays” and “Straights”

Cheyenne Jackson – born July 12, 1975

Cheyenne Jackson is an openly gay American actor who has appeared on television as a guest star on many shows, most notably on Glee, which may just be the gayest show EVER! He has had roles on 30 Rock, Ugly Betty, Law & Order, as well as Curb Your Enthusiasm. He is also a well-known theatre actor, and has enjoyed a prolific Broadway career.

Born and raised in the small Washington town of Newport, Jackson is the third child of evangelical born again Christians, who thankfully have accepted him for who he is. He lives with his husband Monte Lapka in New York City. The couple married in 2011, they have been together since 2000.

On Broadway, he performed in Aida, and Xanadu, as well as All Shook Up, where he originated the role of Chad, winning the Theatre World Award and nominations for the Drama League and Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Lead Actor.

Matt Bomer – born October 11, 1977

Matt Bomer completes the gay contingency for this week’s Who’s Hot contestants. He is another Dallas native, last week we brought you two fellow Texans, Josh Henderson and Mark Salling.

In 2012, Bomer publicly acknowledged for the first time that he is in a romantic relationship with Hollywood publicist Simon Halls. The couple have 3 children. Bomer’s homosexuality had previously been considered an “open secret” in Hollywood, and he had refused to comment one way or the other about his relationship or orientation.

Like Cheyenne Jackson, Bomer has seen success on the stage, but he is best known for his recent role on White Collar, a show on the USA network.  He got his big break in show business when he was cast in All My Children. He went on to star in The Guiding Light, another soap opera. He also had roles in the series The North Shore, Tru Calling, as well as Chuck.

Derek Hough – born May 17, 1985

Derek Hough is an American dancer and choreographer from Sandy, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City. He has appeared on the hit television series Dancing with the Stars since September 2007. He is currently a three-time champion.

Prior to joining Dancing with the Stars, Hough in the 2006 original cast production of Footloose: The Musical in London, as well as on the 2006 U.K. national tour. Hough made his Broadway debut on January 8, 2010, starring with Kym Johnson and Mary Murphy in Burn the Floor for the final four performances of the show’s Broadway run.

Hough grew up the fourth of five children in Sandy, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City. He has four sisters, Sharee, Marabeth, Katherine who are older and Julianne, who is younger. All four of Hough’s grandparents were dancers, and his parents met while on a ballroom dancing team in college, in Idaho.

Wentworth Miller – born June 2, 1972

Wentworth Miller is an American actor who was born in England while his family was living there while his father was studying as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University. Like his father, Miller is very smart; he studied English Literature at Princeton University.

He made his television debut on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, but gained fame years later when he was cast to star in Fox’s smash hit Prison Break. The role earned miller a nomination for Best Actor in a Dramatic Series in 2005.

Miller has been rumored to be gay, but has never confirmed it. But he has also rarely been spotted with a “lady friend” either. He hasn’t done much since Prison Break, but is so hot that he is still made the Who’s Hot list. (And I for one totally agree) Do you?
