1 5lb. pork loin

½ cup of orange juice

1 tablespoon of cumin

2 tablespoons of brown sugar

1 teaspoon of onion powder

4 tablespoons of minced garlic

1 ½ teaspoons of chili powder

½ teaspoon of cinnamon

1 tablespoon of Italian Seasoning or Herb de Provence


Rinse your pork loin and pat dry.  Take all your dry ingredients and whisk them together.  In a separate bowl whisk together the orange juice and minced garlic. Press the dry mixture evenly onto the pork loin and lay the loin in your slow cooker.  Pour the orange juice mixture over and around the loin. Set your slow cooker to 8 hours (which is low) and allow to cook undisturbed for the full 8 hours. Most likely the loin will be tender enough to shred. Enjoy!
