A member of the Facebook group ‘Gay and Fabulous’ recently asked, “What instantly makes a man unattractive?” Hundreds of group members answered, with the top answer being simply, “Voting Republican.” Most users suggested traits like being manipulative, being a control freak, treating others poorly, or lacking empathy. Smoking was also a very popularly listed turn-off. Pet lovers also made it clear that not liking animals was a deal-breaker. One thing was clear, good looks can only take you so far if you have a bad personality.
