On Thursday, June 12, GFLGLCC will host From Protest to Progress: Business Empowerment Since Stonewall—a fireside chat featuring Stacy Lentz and Kurt Kelly, co-owners of the iconic Stonewall Inn NYC and 2025 Grand Marshals of Wilton Manors Stonewall Pride.
Taking place from 6 to 9 PM at the GFLGLCC Chamber Office and Visitors Center, this free event will spotlight how LGBTQ leaders are driving inclusive innovation beyond performative policies. The evening will include refreshments from Jenn’s Tea & Spice Shop. Attendees can expect inspiration, insight, and community.
Stacy is the only lesbian leader associated with the historic Stonewall Inn, the site of the modern LGBTQ world civil rights movement in New York on June 28, 1969. The Stonewall Inn sits on the square of the only National Park Service LGBTQ National Monument.
