On Tuesday, July 22, from 7 to 8 PM, South Florida PBS will host a free virtual Town Hall focused on storm season safety. Titled Storm Season Safety: Hurricane, Water & Fire Danger, the online event will help viewers prepare for Florida’s most unpredictable natural threats—hurricanes, water hazards, and fire dangers.
The Town Hall will feature a panel of experts sharing practical, possibly life-saving advice. Olga Villaverde will moderate the discussion with panelists including Madeline Camejo of Baptist Health, swim safety advocate Casey McGovern, and Jeff Heinz from Palm Beach Fire Rescue. This one-hour live session will stream on the Health Channel, AllHealthTV.com/townhall, and AllHealthGo’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
Viewers will have the opportunity to email their questions in advance to Questions@AllHealthTV.com. Residents across South Florida are encouraged to tune in and learn how to stay safe before, during, and after a storm.
