The South Florida Pride Bands will kick off its new season with an open invitation to music lovers of all levels starting this fall. Rehearsals will be held every Wednesday at 7 PM in Oakland Park, welcoming individuals from the LGBTQ+ and straight-friendly communities. Whether someone is returning to their instrument after years or seeking a musical challenge, the Pride Bands will offer a welcoming, inclusive space.
Musicians of all skill levels—intermediate to advanced—will find a place to grow and perform, with loaner instruments available for those who need them. Those who prefer not to play can support the band through roles like Color Guard, concert crew, or by making donations.
