President Donald Trump refused to rule out seeking a third term when pressed by reporters aboard Air Force One. He said, “I haven’t really thought about it…I would love to do it… But am I not ruling it out? You have to tell me,” while praising Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance as possible 2028 contenders. The 22nd Amendment bars any president from serving more than twice. Gay Representative Mark Takano, co-chair of the Equality Caucus, told The Advocate, “Americans will not kneel for this wannabe king.”
