The Our Fund Foundation has announced the seventh annual South Florida LGBTQ Philanthropy Awards, presented by Bank of America Private Bank. The celebration of outstanding philanthropy, volunteerism, and emerging leadership takes place Saturday, February 7, at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The evening begins with a 5:30 pm cocktail reception in the lower courtyard, followed by the ceremony in the Mary Porter Riverview Ballroom.
David Jobin, President and CEO of The Our Fund Foundation, shared, “We are proud to celebrate these exceptional leaders whose generosity and vision continue to transform our community…They embody our mission to advance philanthropy and help make South Florida the nation’s most vibrant and welcoming place for LGBTQ individuals.” The 2026 Philanthropists of the Year are Don Croxton, Russell Vance, and Peter Zimmer, will be honored for decades of leadership that strengthen LGBTQ arts, culture, and care.
Karen Kelly receives the Commitment to a Cause Award for preserving LGBTQ history and advancing equality for lesbian and transgender women. Jonathan Sanz earns the Next Generation Philanthropy Award for expanding the reach and impact of the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida.
