It’s spring, and that means bears are coming out of hibernation to roam South Florida.. and they’re hungry! Lauderdale Tropical Bear Week is March 31 through April 5, and this iteration will have a mix of longstanding faves along with new events and entertainers. The vip reception is followed by a welcome party at No Manors.
Bear Cabaret has a new cast of performers, Nicole Halliwell hosts bear pop, there’s bear village, plenty of pool parties, and it all wraps up on the beach. One new event caught my eye: horse meat disco. I am tragically unhip and had to have Bear Week organizer Chuck King explain it to me!
