Fox News host Jesse Watters is facing criticism after making comments about bisexual women while discussing Supergirl star Milly Alcock’s remarks about her character’s sexuality. Earlier this week, Alcock suggested that Kara Zor-El might “go both ways,” which delighted many queer fans. During a recent episode of The Five, Watters reacted to the new Supergirl film, saying, “No man will ever see this movie…But the whole bisexual thing… guys don’t get into that.
Maybe that’s cool when you’re 18, but when a girl’s bisexual, we don’t trust her. We don’t trust her. And the ones I’ve met are super weird. So to say you’re bisexual, it’s not a turn on. It’s not a turn on.” His remarks quickly drew backlash online, with critics calling the comments inappropriate and questioning his repeated focus on LGBTQ people’s sexuality.
