Almost since the beginning of Drag there have been pageantry systems so that the “Girls” can compete. A few years ago, Scott L. Gonyaw, who had close to 25 years experience in the art of female impersonation, decided to start the All American Goddess National System. When asked why he felt another system was needed he said, “I was attending a National Pageant a few years back and realized there were a lot of “Girls” out there that hadn’t found their place in the pageant world.”

Almost since the beginning of Drag there have been pageantry systems so that the “Girls” can compete. A few years ago, Scott L. Gonyaw, who had close to 25 years experience in the art of female impersonation, decided to start the All American Goddess National System. When asked why he felt another system was needed he said, “I was attending a National Pageant a few years back and realized there were a lot of “Girls” out there that hadn’t found their place in the pageant world.” Scott then created the system and crowned All American Goddess Emeritus 2007 LaToya Bacall and 2 years later All American Goddess at Large Emeritus 2009 Lawren LaMoore as they set the standard for the All American Pageantry System.
It’s just a few short years later and All American Goddess has Preliminaries all over the country. The newest preliminary owned by Stephane Bragoni takes place at Boom in South Florida. When asked why he chose to start the All American Goddess of South Florida, Stephane said, “Friends of mine are promoters of the All American Goddess prelim in Chicago and they invited me to see the nationals in Ohio last year. When I saw how professional and talented everybody was, I decided to join the system; I felt that South Florida needed to be represented in the system. Everyone involved in the All American Goddess system was very nice to me from the first day and I really feel that I am now part of a big family. . .we all support each other, its great!”
