As part of the NFL’s “My Cleats, My Cause” charitable program, out Las Vegas Raiders Defensive End Carl Nassib designed a pair of rainbow cleats to represent The Trevor Project.

The “My Cause, My Cleats” program allows NFL players to wear customized cleats during a game to call attention to the charity of their choice, which players can later auction to benefit their selected charities.

Nassib is the first active NFL player to come out as gay and has been supportive of LGBTQ+ causes since coming out in an Instagram video in 2021.
