This special edition of Queer News Tonight lead to a Care Resource World AIDS Day tribute with the theme “Healing Through The Arts” hosted by their Communications Director Jonathon Welsh. Special Presentations included Care Resource Executive Director Rick Siclari and major sponsors like Gilead. The special event included a who’s who of South Florida dignitaries. The event included spoken word readings and awards for dedicated volunteers who have given so much to our community. A candlelight vigil remembered those lost to AIDS/HIV and those people living with HIV. A feature was an array of radiant art pieces and amazing dance performances.
