The 13th Annual Riverwalk Stone Crab & Seafood Festival takes place from 11am to 4pm at Esplanade Park in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Presented by Rivertail Fort Lauderdale, this festival has become a South Florida favorite attracting some of the best local gourmet food trucks and restaurants. Island City Stage is enjoying its 11th South Florida season, and with it, the continuation of its popular “Behind the Red Curtain” free community forum series, from 6:30 – 8 pm. The theater company will present “Living the Truth – Seeing the Trans Community Through a Different Lens.” The community forum will educate and inspire others about how to interact with transgender, nonbinary and gender diverse people. Guest panelists will be Franchesca D’Amore, Nic Zantop,; Arianna Lint, Ryan Papciak, and Carvelle Estriplet,. This enlightening program will be moderated by David B.Wohlsifer, Ph.D., LCSW, FAU clinical instructor and owner of The Boca Raton Center for Psychotherapy.
