In honor of Earth Day, the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society invites visitors of all ages to celebrate the living planet we call home at the Historic New River Inn (231 SW Second Ave) form 11am to 2pm. This year’s Earth Day theme is End Plastic Pollution, and the riverside attraction will host the South Broward High School Coral Club, whose members will demonstrate things we all can do to decrease water pollutants and help heal the aging coral on our reefs.
