What’s hot around town, what to do, where to go and the hottest toys and gifts!
Well it seemed like it was just New Year’s Eve, and then I blinked and it was Gay Days 2009. Because Hotspots Magazine is the only Florida-based media sponsor our friends Chris Manley and his team treated us like royalty. There were 2 official hotels: the Royal Plaza and the Regal Sun. We were given a gorgeous 2 bedroom suite on the penthouse floor of the Regal Sun, which quite frankly I was considering moving into permanently. I should have taken a pic of the gigantic Jacuzzi tub that was in my room….wish I had one of those in my house! Gaydays.com had events all weekend starting Thursday night and going through Sunday night including Typhoon Lagoon, a pageant, bear parties and lots of pool parties with sexy men. I saw more men in bathing suits (or less) than even I expected. Lots of sexy memories burned into my head…..hehe!! In addition to the Gaydays.com official parties, all the gay clubs around town had events and then, of course, there were all the circuit parties. As it always is, Gay Days weekend was the biggest party weekend in Florida.
The next 2 weekends are also packed with events as this weekend is the 10th annual Stonewall Street Festival in the heart of Wilton Manors, and next weekend is the annual St Pete Pride Festival. Check out the Hotspots Magazine team at both events, and please come up and say hello!

PhotoShowerCurtain.com manufactures one-of-a-kind, custom fabric shower curtains using a wide range of photographic images and digital designs submitted by the customer. In the past, some companies have offered custom shower curtain sizes using a small selection of traditional fabrics, hand painted fabric curtains or stock designs on vinyl, but before now none have offered a fully imaged photo quality shower curtain. Photo Shower Curtains are printed using a sublimation process which fuses the image into the fabric to make a permanent, extremely durable, high detail image. The process does not change the feel of the fabric and the image will not fade, crack, or peel. Quality fabrics and state of the art digital imaging yield products with photo realistic durable images that can be laundered repeatedly with no fading or shrinkage. Orders may be placed on the PhotoShower Curtain.com site and paid by credit or debit card. Single orders are $149 – $199 and shipped free in 2-4 weeks. Institutional orders are priced based on quantity ordered and shipped in 4-8 weeks. For product details, design guidelines and quotes call toll-free 888.DOMYBATH. The City of Miami Commission voted 5 to 0 to adopt a Domestic Partnership Ordinance last Thursday, becoming the third municipality in Miami-Dade County to do so.
Commissioners Angel Gonzalez, Marc Sarnoff, Joe M. Sanchez,
Tomas P. Regalado and Michelle Spence-Jones voted in favor of the ordinance. The new ordinance will allow the City of Miami to offer health benefits to the declared domestic partners and their
children of city employees in the same manner as the city offers such benefits to spouses of married heterosexual employees. The ordinance was similarly adopted by the City of Miami Beach and the City of North Miami. Miami-Dade County also offers similar benefits to county employees as the result of work done by SAVE Dade and its partners for an ordinance passed in May of last year.

When Love Takes Over

What do you get when one of the world’s most in demand producers and one of the world’s most in demand vocalists combine their talents? What if the producer was hit maker and ambassador of the club culture David Guetta and the vocalist was internationally revered Pop/R&B goddess and Grammy winner Kelly Rowland (who by the way is FIERCE as the hostess of the Fashion Show on Bravo)? Following an astounding live premiere at this year’s Winter Music Conference, David Guetta presents “When Love Takes Over” featuring Kelly Rowland, a song that crossed pop culture barriers from all over the world when it was released digitally in April and will be released physically on June 29th. As the song itself proclaims….”it never felt so good, ’cause I can feel it coming over me, I wouldn’t stop if I could’ and that’s exactly what fans around the world are feeling when they listen to this exhilarating pop anthem, which is definitely set to be the sound of the summer of 2009. The song’s remix package features re-rubs from club experts Laidback Luke, Norman Doray & Arno Cost, Albin Myers and Abel Ramos.
