The club has a New York feel with breathtaking views of downtown Tampa. DJ David Carpenter and hostess Melanie Minyon with hot models kick the feel into high gear! The second T-dance is actually being called the Centro Block Party. This is a new party so huge it takes a community to host it! This one features live bands at PLAY Ybor, specials at Centro Cantina, DJ Power Infinity and Macaviti at large with Jocelyn Summers at Hamburger Mary’s. Dancing until 3 am at G.BAR!

Every Wednesday night it’s BINGO for charities at Hamburger Mary’s in Centro Ybor. What a fun place and way to celebrate your birthdays and special events. This past week a group of friends gathered to celebrate Wade’s birthday. What a fun time it truly was!
One of our favorite nights of the week is Thursdays in GaYBOR! Of course we start by checking out what’s new at MC Film! The Battle of the Bands at the Ritz Ybor is simply incredible! This past week there was a pre-teen rock band called Kollij that blew the crowd away. Whenever you’re on the 1500 block of 7th Ave. it is a must do stop at The Reservoir to say hi to Mamma and the gang. JJ’s, located on the corner of 16th and 7th, is known for great food at a reasonable price. Now JJ’s is hosting a talent contest. Everybody and all kinds of talent are welcome! After being truly impressed by the talent, head across the street and up to Hamburger Mary’s for Live Band Night! At 11 pm it’s like the Piped Piper called and everybody heads over to the Ybor Social & Eagle! The party here is truly what legends are made from!
Whenever you hear there is going to be a theme party at G.BAR or The Honey Pot, you know not to miss it! This was again true at the NYC Black Out Party! The skyline of NYC, the Statue of Liberty and the street signs were only part of the decor. Add in black light body painting, hats, glow sticks and you have a wild party!
It’s no big secret that our very favorite place to party in the whole world is Steam Fridays! It’s not just the incredible space and staff, but the incredible people you meet there. Friday we were talking with 4 top porn stars from Ft. Lauderdale. The guys jumped into the car and drove 4 hours, not for a job or to perform, but to have fun in their off time! “There is no place like GaYBOR in all of Florida,” the guys told us. “Here we can park our car at the hotel and walk to everything for the next 3 days. The friendliness, diversity and strength your community has here is something to be very proud of.” WOW what can we say but…Viva La GaYBOR!
