A week ago Tuesday, was the monthly Fort Lauderdale Mack Mixer, taking place this month at Taps Fort Lauderdale. Once again, it was a huge success. Thursday was the monthly GLBX After Hours Mixer at new Boca Smiles in Wilton Manors. I would like to congratulate Dr. Costabile of Boca Smiles on his second location. Also on Thursday, Z-Roc Dermatology celebrated their second anniversary. Congrats to Drs. Matthew Zarraga and Khongruk Wongkittiroch on a great first year in business and we wish them many more years of success. Thursday also brought us the annual Miss Village Pub pageant, which is now a preliminary to Miss Florida F.I. Well, there is something to say about persistence, as Alexis Couture was first runner-up last year and came back this year and won every category. Congrats to Alexis and Village Pub’s owners and staff on a fabulous pageant. Filthy Gorgeous Fridays at Score presented, direct from Argentina, comedian Diego Garcia Moyano.

Last week there were two big anniversaries in town. The first one had Laurie, Jennifer and the entire Sidelines staff celebrating their ninth anniversary as the only gay sports bar in South Florida. The second was Noche Latina Florida celebrating their 17th anniversary at Noche Latina Saturdays at the Manor. Congrats to both teams and I wish them many more years of success!
