Miami Beach Gay Pride will present “Soirée By The Sea,” the fifth annual VIP cocktail reception to raise funds to help produce the 2018 Pride parade and festival at Marriot Biscayne Bay from 7:30 to 10 p.m. “Soirée By The Sea” will feature cocktails, light bites, entertainment and many surprises. Three highlights of the event will be a birthday celebration for the 2018 Ally Grand Marshal Roxanne Vargas from NBC6, a special performance by 2017 Miss Miami Beach Gay Pride Joanna James, and a giant check presentation from Pride to the Point Foundation. The check is symbolic of Pride’s donation from proceeds of the Angels program which Point will use toward scholarships for LGBTQ college students. There will be a free meet and greet for the first 100 people on line at 11p.m. The night will also feature the sounds of DJ Scott Shepard in the ballroom. In the Ivy Dance Room and Patio, Noche Latina Saturdays presents the many faces of Sasha Lords along with resident DJ Larry Larr and hot Latin Go-Go papi’s. Saturdays at the Manor is from 11p.m. to 4 a.m. and feature NO COVER before midnight (FL Res) and only $7 for members after midnight and $10 for non-members (18-20 is $12 all night).
