Bourbon Street Pub and New Orleans House presents Luau Weekend from today until Sunday, July 7 with clothing optional pool parties each day and night in the Garden Bar. The weekend will also feature VJ Gary Nolan, DJ Rude Girl, early evening shows by Jeff Moss and The Men of Bourbon each night.

Speaking of the Miami Improv, Aries Spears starts a 3 day stint there tonight. Best known for his years on MADtv, Aries was 14 years old, when he became a force to be reckoned with in the comedy scene throughout America. His quick wit, charisma and ferociously aggressive style of comedy have earned him critical acclaim, high accolades, and above all, a busy schedule continually touring the country with his stand-up.

Saturday, July 6

Mitown productions presents an exclusive evening with the legendary superstar and Lifetime Grammy Award-winner Dionne Warwick at the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts at 8pm.  Accompanied by a live symphony orchestra, this star-studded event will feature Dionne singing her classic Grammy Award-winning songs and record-topping hits, such as “Walk on By,”  “Don’t Make Me Over,” and “That’s What Friends Are For,” among many others.

The Grille on the Drive (2000 Wilton Drive) presents a benefit luncheon in support of The pet Project for Pets and Broward County Animal Care and Adoption from 11am to 2pm. Hugh Jackman, the Australian actor, singer and dancer has proven he can move easily from action roles to musical theater, appearing as Wolverine in the X-Men series and P.T. Ramrod presents Pig Dance #131 (first Saturday of every month) featuring the sounds of guest DJ Daniel Kristophere from Italy, from 10pm to 3am. 

The Club Fort Lauderdale features their bi-monthly (1st and 3rd Saturday of the month) Res-Erection Naked Blackout event at 10p.m. This is always a sold-out event, so get there early!
