Ingredients:

3 Boneless skinless chicken breasts

¾ cup of soy sauce

¼ cup sugar

2 teaspoons of ground ginger or 1 teaspoon of fresh grated

1 tablespoon of sesame seeds

1 teaspoon of grated wasabi (optional)

Directions:

Soak your wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes.  Rinse, pat dry and cut your chicken breast lengthwise into 1.5- 2 inch wide strips.  In a bowl, mix together all ingredients except for your sesame seeds. Reserve ½ of the mixture in a bowl to the side. In a Pyrex dish, lay the chicken strip in the ½ the mixture ensuring that they are well-coated. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, turning a couple time for a good coating. Run a skewer lengthwise into each chicken strip. Lightly grease and heat your grill or griddle to medium high heat, allowing it to get really hot.  Lay each skewer on the grill and allow to cook at least 7 minutes on each side, brushing with the reserved mixture. Keep grilling until you get to your desired doneness. Remove from grill and sprinkle with sesame seeds. ENJOY!!
