Le Boy says love is in the air this Valentine’s weekend with a $200 cash hot body contest hosted by Nicole Halliwell.

The Pub presents a Valentine’s Day Stupid Cupid show hosted by Starlet Skye and starring Erika Norell and Dre Acevedo at 9pm. They will also feature the “Love Connection” game show with prizes and giveaways. 

Friday, February 14

Eagle Wilton Manors presents “Dance for a Cause: Red Party” from 9pm to 3am. There is a $10 donation to Florida AIDS Walk in conjunction with World AIDS Museum. The night will star DJ Daniel Kristopher

Lips presents “Valentines Glitz, Glam and Love” hosted by Nicolette. This 3 course prix fixe dinner features dinner, drinks and a fabulous show. 

Floppy Roosters presents “Nasty or Nice” a Valentines party for all, where they invite you to come get a little frisky. The night will feature sexy giveaways by Sex Nasty or Nice, and bottle giveaways via Eventbrite. 

The Pub presents the Synergy Twins performing live at 9:30pm, and then again tomorrow Saturday, February 15 at 8pm.

Saturday, February 15

The Pub Wilton Manors presents, from American Idol season 15, the one and only Ada Vox at 11pm. If you can’t catch Ada tonight or you just want to hear her fabulous voice one more time, you can catch her on Sunday, Feb 16 at 9pm. 

Bourbon St Pub in Key West presents the Shore Leave Party for the RSVP Cruise from 10am to 4pm. They will have a pool party, dancers, a Jacuzzi and everyone is welcome! 

The Club Fort Lauderdale presents Reserection: A Second Coming (1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month) at 10pm. This generally sells out, so get there early to avoid the line. 

Eagle Wilton Manors presents “Brut” starring DJs Peter Napoli and Dan Darlington. Doors open at 9pm to 3am and advance tickets are available at Brutparty.com.

The Manor Complex presents “LOVE FACTORY” with red hot décor, show, beautiful dancers and the music of DJ Kidd Madonny in the Ballroom. In the Ivy Dance Room and Windsor Lounge, Noche Latina Saturdays presents “Valentines” hosted by Erika Norell, with special guests Yeya Calderone and Anahi Santos. The night will also star guest DJ Ricardo Torres, and Sexy Latin Go-Go Papi’s. As always, doors open at 11pm and there will be no cover for Florida Residents 21 and over before midnight. After midnight its $7 for members and $10 for nonmembers. (18-20 – $12 all night).

Bill Huelsman presents A Celebration of Life for his husband, Terry DeCarlo, from 2 to 6pm at Richardson Park (1937 Wilton Drive) featuring the music of DJ Herbie James. Terry was a friend for many years, not only to me, but to our entire community! 

The 5th annual Gay8 festival takes place today from 11am to 10pm on Calle Ocho. This is the largest free Latino LGBTQI music, food and arts festival in the US and will feature Albita, Lucy Grau, Sonlokos, Marytrinim Tiffany Fantasia, Pepper Mashay, Robbie Elias, DJ Rosabel, Nic N’taya, and many more. The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce presents their February Mixer from 5:30 to 7pm at Hunters Nightclub. You will enjoy a complimentary Reyka Vodka drink, as well as Complimentary Hors D’oeuvres. Twist presents Fresh with special guest hostess Nicole Halliwell along with DJ Fernan Dcute, and as always never a cover! 

Business for the Arts of Broward (BFA) kicks off its 2020 Arts Mean Business Speaker Series with a presentation from South Florida-based visual artist Stephanie Melissa Dorsainvil on from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Pipeline, 100 SE 3rd Ave., 10th Floor, in Fort Lauderdale. The event is free and open to the public. Guests must RSVP by February 18 to rvegas@bfabroward.org. A reception with light appetizers and wine begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the presentation at 6 p.m.

The Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF) is a national, star-studded, five-day destination event showcasing the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities. Its 19th annual edition will take place February 19 – 23.    

Hosted by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits and Florida International University (FIU), the Festival benefits FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management and the Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center. Each year, more than 1,200 students and volunteers gain invaluable real-world experience with the Festival – which serves as an interactive educational platform for the future leaders of the hospitality industry. To date, the Festival has raised more than $30 million for the School.
