A house-turned-apartment complex is bringing smiles to lots of people on a Nebraska block thanks to its vibrant, rainbow paint job and the owner’s young daughters who chose the hues. Though the structure displays the colors of the LGBTQ+ flag, the color palette was chosen by the apartment building owner, Ryan Basye, at the request of his three daughters: 5-year-old Cecilia, 7-year-old Louise, and 9-year-old Josephine. According to the house owner, the girls do not understand that the colors symbolize something, for them it was fun and the coolest thing ever. Plus, this place is right by an elementary school so lots of kids walk by with smiles on their faces when they see the colors.
