This is the 21st anniversary of the Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival and one of the largest in the country. This year’s festival of award winning GLBT movies cover the gamut of topics and running through the 17th at Tampa Theatre in downtown Tampa. Drag Off Contest at Hamburger Mary’s
The competition was fierce, but in the end only one could win. Congratulations to Michael! Kurtrina had incredible costumes and great back up dancers. Then Michael pulled the oldest trick in the book: sexy back up dancers! In the end, the whole community won as a donation was made to the GaYBOR District Coalition. The funds will be used to help offset the cost of a float in Orlando Pride this Sunday. Thank you, Kurt, Mike and Hamburger Mary’s! Viva La GaYBOR!
A Great and Spooky Company, Florida Entertainment Group
We all have had bosses who could scary the bejebbis out of us! The Florida Entertainment Group (G.Bar, Honey Pot, Social/Eagle, DIVE) has taken in it to the next level! They purchased 110 tickets to the Halloween Party at Busch Gardens to take their staff and friends! The group was so large they are doing two parties! The first party met this past week at the Social before the scary night! What a great idea and company to be a part of!
