Some highlights on the concert will include “Opening Night on Broadway”, a medley of modern show tunes including music from Avenue Q, Spamalot, The Producers, and The Lion King. Tenor James Perkowski, who is no stranger to south
Other pieces being performed include the theme from The Magnificent Seven which will feature western-style dancers, a medley of songs from the broadway smash Wicked, themes from Star Trek, and of course songs from The Wizard of Oz. Dan Bassett, artistic director of the wind ensemble claims, “The collection of local artists being featured on this concert are some of the most talented people I’ve every worked with. The audience is in for a real treat.”
