Stephen Neil will be coming to town for a one night show at The Pub Wilton Manors from 9-11pm. This wicked night of tricks & treats, Halloween themed music, costume changes, and more will be a great way to start the Halloween weekend!

 

No tricks, just treats this Halloween for Gulfstream Park Village’s ‘Not So Spooky’ Halloween! from 6:30–8 p.m., with a socially distanced and safe alternative to neighborhood trick-or-treating. This event will offer a ghostly good time for families and kids of all ages. With this year’s Halloween festivities in doubt, Miami Children’s Museum (980 MacArthur Causeway) is stepping up and making sure there is still a treat to be found!  Trick or treat from your car seat this Halloween at MiChiMu’s Halloween Drive-Thru! Dress up in your favorite costume and head to the Museum from 11am – 2pm for a festive, not-so-spooky, drive-thru celebration for kids of all ages. Twist Presents Halloween 2020 where they present tricks and treats starring DJ Mike James

 

The Pub presents a Halloween Spooktacular Contest. They invite you to stop by the pub between 7 and 10 pm to get your photo taken for the contest, and the judging begins at 10:30pm via an on-screen slideshow of pics. Must be present at time of judging to win. The first place will win $150 in cash and $150 Pub gift card; 2nd place wins $100 in cash and $100 Pub gift card and 3rd place wins $50 in cash and $50 Pub gift card. 

 

Miami Dade County Fair and Exposition presents “Ghouls Night Out,” a fun night out at the Drive-in featuring live in concert Lucy Grau. The night will also feature Ray Guell, music by DJ Alex Gutierrez, hostess Athena Dion, and a costume contest with cash and prizes. The Worlds AIDS Museum’s 40 days of giving featuring The Colors of HIV starts tonight, and goes through December 13. The Colors of HIV, original works by local artist Toby Gotesman Schneier, is a series that reflects many different aspects of HIV/AIDS. The paintings serve as visual representations of the emotional moments experienced by the families whose lives have been affected by the virus.  Go see the entire collection of work in person by registering for a private tour of 3 to 10 people. Tickets can be purchased for $40 on Eventbrite.com. As a reminder, all pieces featured in the exhibit are for sale with a portion of the proceeds benefitting our museum. Dash & Lily Premieres on Netflix November 10

‘Kylie: Infinite Disco’

On November 7 Kylie will stream a ticketed performance across the globe, taking fans on a journey inside her imagination to another dimension. ‘Kylie: Infinite Disco’ will take viewers through a parallel universe from solitary isolation to an alternative euphoric dance-floor community of togetherness. The visual world imagined by Kylie and the creative team at Studio Moross and Sinclair/Wilkinson ends in a future time and place where we can, in Kylie’s words, “all be as one again.” The performance will feature many of the tracks on Kylie’s highly-anticipated new album, ‘Disco,’ due out November 6 via BMG. As well as the new tracks, the unique broadcast will include some very special Kylie classics.  Sam Smiths New Album, “Love Goes,” Drops October 30

Capital Records will release Sam Smith’s new album, Love Goes, on October 30th. The album’s 17 songs were written over the course of the past two years. The pandemic gave Smith a fresh perspective on the album and impacted both its title and the recording of tracks such as the recently released “My Oasis,” a cross-continental collaboration with Burna Boy.  As Smith details in this announcement, “Every time I went into the studio I promised myself I would shoot for the stars and have no limitations…I am sorry it’s taken a while. 2nd Annual Art + Stroll

Business for the Arts of Broward’s (BFA) 2nd Annual ART + STROLL, a one-of-a-kind event featuring an art exhibition, live entertainment and a silent auction.
