When did you know you
wanted to DJ/ sing?
I have been involved in music since I was 9. At 20 I moved to California and I started DJing at UCLA fraternity parties and from there I got into the club scene and DJing more full time. Of course I also had waitering jobs to pay the bills (as most in the arts people do in the beginning), but I have been living off the music full time since 2006.
You have done a little acting. How did that start?
At 17 I was modeling and that led to commercials, which I liked, so I took acting classes and started to get some gigs. I have had roles on General Hospital, Ocean Avenue, NCIS, and Do You Want To Be A Soap Star. I love acting and would definitely be interested if something good came along, but my real passion is music.
Ok, we will move on to other areas
in a minute, but I have to tell you I have watched General Hospital since I was 13. How was that experience?
I played a young Luke and everyone (actors, crew, etc) was very friendly. It was an excellent experience and to have a chance to work with Anthony Geary and Genie Francis was an amazing, thrilling experience.
You have lived in quite a few places. What is your favorite?
South Florida. I love it down here.
You have 2 new singles, ìSoulja 4 Loveî and ìNight Love.î Are you making a full album?
I will be making a full album, but right now I am looking for writers. ìNight Loveî I wrote and produced with my cousin Vincent Venditto and ìSoulja 4 Loveî was written by Vincent. They are both out and can be purchased at indiestore.7digital.com/michaelsarysz/
How did you get cast in Mommaís Boys? Was it hard to convince your mom to do the show?
My mom is the one who went online and saw it was being cast for. She contacted them and set it up and then they contacted me.
How do you feel about the Gay community?
Well I live in South Florida, so how can I not embrace that community? I love my gay fans and I am excited about spinning for the gay community. Actually I am currently in talks with a gay club to spin there, so I am crossing my fingers.
What donít people know about Michael Sarysz?
That I really enjoy stand-up comedy and I am a huge fan of Dane Cook.
What do you like to do for fun?
I love the outdoors, barbecuing, jet skiing, fishing, going to the beach, etc.
Whatís ahead for you?
I want to stay focused on my music. Although I wouldnít say no to some acting, but as I said before music is my passion!
